Welcome to the CAD/CAM laboratory at the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University. Our mission is to provide students with a quality education in order to enter the workforce confidently, and provide those already in the workforce with the education to get ahead.

Because we are part of one of the nation’s largest research facilities, our students have the ultimate advantage. We are able to offer state-of-the-art facilities, instructors and techniques in many areas including three-dimensional design, simulation and manufacturing. All of the textbooks in our classes are written by members of the CAD/CAM staff and are widely used by industry and other universities and colleges.
