Workbenches: Generative Structural Analysis, Advanced Meshing Tools
Description: This course covers how to setup and perform stress analysis on parts and assemblies. It covers how to apply meshes, setup restraints, apply loads and view the results. Students will be introduced to the analysis environment of CATIA V5 and will learn how to work between the analysis, part and product environments.
Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to setup and modify a mesh; establish restraints and loads on a part or product; view and manage the results; utilize virtual parts; perform static and frequency analyses; work with assemblies and their connections; and work with some of the advanced meshing tools.
